Immersion Heater

Immersion heater uses liquid (water, oil, and chemical fluid) to transfer heat. The heater requires materials that are corrosion resistance. Sheath material can be different grade of Stainless Stainless Steel, ie. 304, 315 and 316L. Using copper tube as an addition can improve strength and heat transferability in the heater. It is usually coated by Nickel, for corrosion resistance purpose. One of the most frequent problems associated with immersion heater is limestone found on the heating surface. Consequently, the limestone inhibits heat transfer and will cause the heater to explore at a high temperature. This problem can be address by having a clean water system as well as calculating the appropriate amount of energy per area.
